My travels to Europe and the Pacific, seeking and photographing WWII "then and now" historic sites, has afforded me to photograph many unique cities and countries.  These images of various buildings, monuments, countries, grave-sites, cities, historic personalities, and the beautiful scenic countryside where history happened are available for you to see in the slideshows below.

A sample of these photos cover Hawaii, Guam, the Phillipines, and Iwo Jima in the Pacific as well as  Normandy, Versailles, the occupation and liberation of Paris, Compiegne, Belleau Wood, Reims, and the Alsace-Lorraine region of France.  Belgium and Luxembourg are the settings for "The Battle of the Bulge."  Berlin, the Alps, Munich (where the Nazi movement began), Nuremberg, and the Rhine River area of Germany comprise more of my photos. Iconic personalities such as Nimitz, Macarthur, JFK and PT-109 in the Solomons, and major Japanese figures in the Pacific are incorporated into these unique "Then and Now" images.  FDR, Churchill, Montgomery, Eisenhower, Patton, Audie Murphy, Erwin Rommel, and the Nazi high command to name a few are featured in European scenes.  "In the Footsteps of Valor" book, which contains many of these photographs, makes great gift items for your grandfathers, fathers, and relatives that made up "the greatest generation."  Also wonderful for veterans and history buffs.
